KHONSA

Khonsa is a green field project under the Ministry of Defence India. Located in the hilly terrain of Arunachal Pradesh, the site spans 134 acres, a very pecicular terrain with a overall gradient of 1:15 and height variations of 200m from bottom to top of site.

SITE

The project is an integration of Institutional, Residential, Recreational, Administrative zones. Developments well planned and located on site as per client functional connectivity. Total built up achieved is 40700 sqm. Apart from buildings scope of work also included planning of all external services namely - Road Network, Water Supply, Electric Supply, Sewage Disposal.

  • All buildings have been designed as RCC framed constructed according to earth quake zone V norms & measures. The construction materials & specs have been adopted keeping in mind the rainfall content relative humidity & cloud cover prevailent on site throughout the year.
  • The site posed many challanges such as heavy rainfall throughout the year, being in zone V, having a gradient of 1:15, poor geological strata, only about 20% buildable area on site, numerous drains privalent on site.
